Win A Million Lottery for 2010

LONDON, ON, December 17, 2010 — The winning tickets for the Win A Million Lottery were drawn starting at 8:30 a.m. this morning at the London Health Sciences Foundation office located at 747 Baseline Road East.

“Having the draw before Christmas has undoubtedly made the holiday season merrier for a lot of people,” says Lottery Program Manager Rita Fieder. “The real winners though, are the patients from our region who benefit from the great care at London Health Sciences Centre.

The Win A million Lottery is conducted by London Health Sciences Foundation and supports the highest priority needs at London Health Sciences Centre. The foundation is committed to enhancing patient care and creating an environment that allows LHSC to continue to attract the best physicians, scientists and researchers who serve the most medically-complex and critically-injured patients in Southwestern Ontario.

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported our hospital by purchasing a ticket, says LHSF President and CEO Dan Ross. “Lottery proceeds are absolutely essential in enhancing and advancing care for patients at London Health Sciences Centre by supporting advanced equipment purchases, innovative patient-care initiatives, education and ground-breaking research that would not otherwise receive funding.
