HEART DISEASE AND STROKE THREATENS 9 OUT OF 10 CANADIANS WHO HAVE AT LEAST ONE RISK FACTOR ALL THE MORE REASON THE HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION EXISTS TO HELP CREATE SURVIVORS.
Last year alone the Heart&Stroke Foundation helped create 165,000 survivors. Over the next decade, they have committed an unprecedented $300 Million in research needed to meet their mission goals. In the past year, almost 450,000 Canadians learned how to save a life because they were trained in CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), which are appearing in more and more public spaces. For more than 60 years, the Heart&Stroke Foundation has helped save the lives of countless Canadians. As a leading Canadian healthcare charity their mission is to continue to fight heart disease and stroke.
