RUSSELL, ONTARIO, July 9, 2026 — Only twelve weeks into its newest Catch the Ace lottery, the Kin Club of Russell is already seeing the kind of momentum that made its previous campaign one of Ontario’s most successful charitable lottery stories.

This week’s estimated jackpot has climbed to $170,000, while the estimated weekly prize has reached $10,000. At the same time, the lottery has already raised more than $215,000 for charities, continuing a tradition of community support that has now generated more than $7,845,000 for local causes over the life of the program.

Building on an Incredible Legacy

The previous Catch the Ace campaign captivated supporters for 51 weeks, with jackpots climbing into the millions before finally concluding in dramatic fashion.

For many players, that unforgettable finish is still fresh in their minds.

Now, the newest lottery is writing its own story.

While still in its early months, the current round is steadily attracting players who know how quickly these jackpots can grow.

The current lottery is still young compared with the previous record-breaking campaign.

That gives players an opportunity to get involved while both the weekly prize and progressive jackpot continue to grow.

This week’s estimated weekly prize is $10,000, while the jackpot has already reached $170,000.

How to Play

Players purchase tickets and choose an envelope number. If their ticket is drawn, they win that week’s estimated weekly prize. If the selected envelope contains the Ace of Spades, they also win the progressive jackpot.

The current jackpot has already grown to $127,000, while this week’s estimated weekly prize is $9,500. The lottery has already raised more than $156,000 for charities, an impressive start for a fundraiser still in its early stages.

The excitement comes only months after the previous Catch the Ace concluded in dramatic fashion during Week 51, capping one of Ontario’s most successful charitable lottery runs. That campaign helped push the Kin Club of Russell’s cumulative charitable fundraising total to more than $7.7 million.

Building on an Extraordinary Legacy

For many supporters, the memories of Catch the Ace 7 are still fresh.

After 51 weeks of growing jackpots, weekly draws, and mounting anticipation, the previous lottery concluded in front of thousands of followers who had watched the story unfold from the very beginning.

The result was not only a life-changing prize for the winner, but also a tremendous victory for local charities.

Today, the Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace program has now raised more than $7,786,000 for charities throughout Eastern Ontario.

This week’s estimated prize is $9,500, while the jackpot has already climbed to $127,000.

How It Works

Players purchase tickets and choose an envelope number. If their ticket is drawn, they win that week’s estimated prize. If the envelope they selected contains the Ace of Spades, they also win the progressive jackpot.
