EDMONTON, AB, June 8, 2016 — Time is running out for participants to get their tickets in this year’s Alberta SPCA June Cash Lottery. At 4:30 PM on June 14th, ticket sales will come to a close, and with that, your chance at 30 cash prizes totalling $70,000. The Final Draw in this year’s lottery will consist of one Grand Prize payout of $20,000, one prize of $5,000, four prizes of $2,000, and finally 22 prizes of $1,000. The winners will be announced June 24th.
Tickets are 1 for $25, 2 for $50, 3 for $60, 4 for $80, 5 for $100, and 6 for $120. They are available for sale online or by phone at 1-888-802-0780 or 780-488-CASH (2274) within the Edmonton area.
In light of recent events in Fort McMurray, the Alberta SPCA has been working alongside partner groups to reunite families with their pets, and thankfully over 80% of animal evacuees are now reunited with their owners! According to their website “anyone who hasn’t heard about their animals should check the gallery of unidentified animals maintained by Wood Buffalo’s Animal Control Services. New photos are added periodically.”
Proceeds from ticket sales will help to fund the SPCA and all the great work they do for our families and our four-legged friends.
