CALGARY, ALBERTA, October 16, 2026 — Calgary Humane Society has launched its 2026 Fall JackPAWT 50/50, giving Albertans the opportunity to win half of the growing jackpot while supporting the Society’s work to protect and care for animals in need.
The Fall JackPAWT 50/50 is a fundraising lottery supporting Calgary Humane Society, an open-admission animal welfare organization dedicated to protecting animals, supporting people and their animals, while creating a more humane community through education.
One lucky winner will take home 50 per cent of the final jackpot. As of October 16, the jackpot is over $49,000, with the prize continuing to grow as tickets are sold.
Tickets are available for $10 for one ticket, $20 for a three-ticket pack, $50 for a 10-ticket pack or $100 for a 50-ticket pack.
Ticket sales close Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., with the 50/50 draw taking place Friday, November 6, 2026, at noon. A total of 116,125 tickets are available for sale.
Proceeds from the lottery help Calgary Humane Society provide care and support for animals at their most vulnerable. The Society’s work includes animal protection, sheltering, veterinary care, adoption, humane education, community outreach and programs that help people and their animals stay together.
Every ticket purchased helps Calgary Humane Society continue to be there for animals who need us most, while giving participants the chance to take home a significant prize.
Meet Milo
Milo is a friendly, fun-loving boy who is always ready to GO, GO, GO! His bright energy is impossible not to love, and keeping up with his active spirit takes a little extra time and care from our team.
While Milo waits for his forever home, Calgary Humane Society provides him with the enrichment, attention and resources he needs to stay happy, healthy and thriving, from extra playtime and toys to plenty of snacks, of course.
JackPAWT 50/50 ticket purchases help make that care possible, providing animals like Milo with the support they need while they wait to find their people.
The Fall JackPAWT 50/50 is open to eligible participants in Alberta, in accordance with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission regulations. Tickets can be purchased online at https://jackpawt.calgaryhumane.ca/ or by calling Calgary Humane Society at 403-723-6000.
