RUSSELL, ONTARIO, September 3, 2026 — Last week, they were two milestones on the horizon. This week, they’re in the rearview mirror. The estimated jackpot has topped $300,000 — now sitting at an estimated $315,000 — and the game’s all-time total for local charities has officially passed $8 million.

Twenty Sunday draws into the eighth edition of Catch the Ace, the Kin Club of Russell’s volunteers keep watching the pot climb — and this Sunday, someone takes home an estimated $13,000 weekly prize no matter what card their envelope hides.

The lottery is run entirely by volunteers, and the vast majority of every dollar raised stays close to home — supporting hospitals, food banks, youth programs, mental-health initiatives and dozens of other local causes across Prescott-Russell and the Ottawa region. More than $393,000 has already been raised for local charities this round alone.

Why It Works

Across every campaign, the game has now raised more than $7.97 million for the community.
