2016/2017 Heart & Stroke Lottery Major Winners Selected

TORONTO, ON, March 24, 2017 — Wednesday was a big day in the 2016/2017 Heart & Stroke Lottery. All of the major winners – that’s seven Grand Prize winners, 50 Merchandise Prize winners, 49,820 Cash Prize winners, and a healthy 50/50 jackpot – were selected. The draws were held on site at 400 Applewood Crescent, Suite 500, in Vaughan with the exception of the 50/50 Draw which took place at the office of Deloitte LLP, Bay Adelaide Centre, East Tower, 22 Adelaide Street West, Suite 200, in Toronto.

Taking home the two Grand Prizes of $1 million cash are Kimberley Elliott of Brantford (Ticket #104791) and Geraldine Tennant of Thunder Bay (Ticket #066110).

Making their choice between a brand new 2017 luxury Audi A4 Technik sedan OR a $50,000 cash payout is Grand Prize #3 winner Helen A Hadden of Sunderland (Ticket #035735).

Driving home a brand new 2017 BMW 230i xDrive Coupe (or $50,000 cash) is Grand Prize #4 winner Alan Snively of Kilworth (Ticket #104959).

There was also a 2017 Ford F-150 XLT 4X4 up for grabs to Grand Prize #5 winner, lucky Erin Campbell of Woodbridge (Ticket #116605).

Grand Prize #6 will see Ellen Kull of Cookstown (Ticket #050641) and a friend jetting off to Australia and New Zealand for a dream vacation.

Grand Prize #7 of $20,000 cash goes to Fred and Tina Sidler of Fonthill (Ticket # 115119) to spend to their hearts’ delight.

Taking home the 50/50 jackpot, a cash payout of $720,197.50, is Dean Markovic of Mississauga (Ticket #5132954)!
