The CT Scanner will be used to detect diseases like dementia, heart disease, and cancer in patients at their earliest stages (often before symptoms even occur), and the Stroke Ambulance functions as a mobile stroke centre with a CT scanner and clot-busting drugs so they can treat a stroke before the patient even reaches the hospital.
