Did you win in this year's Hometown Heroes Lottery?

VANCOUVER, September 24, 2018 — The 2018 Hometown Heroes Lottery — still drawing their Daily Cash™ Plus winners until November 16 — has published their complete list of main lottery winners on their web site at heroeslottery.com. The lottery, which supports the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund and VGH+UBC Hospital Foundation, has awarded over $3.2 million in prizes in more than 3,100 draws this year. Additionally, the 50/50 Plus lottery awarded the winner a prize of $841,267.50 as their half of the jackpot.

The Daily Cash Plus winners are listed on that page, not on the main winners page.

So who walked away with the grand prize? J. Blahut of Nanaimo won their choice between the Crescent Heights, Vancouver, Ocean Park, Lake Country, SookePoint, Penticton or $2.1 Million cash, with ticket number 4109676.

Did you know… According to information published on the lottery web site,

The lottery raises funds for specialized adult health services and research for all British Columbians at VGH and UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehab Centre,Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute and Vancouver Community Health Services. Funds also support programs of the BC Professional Firefighters’ Burn Fund including the annual burn camp for young burn survivors.
