Raffle manager Kevin Hilgers says “we’re making money for our community and feel good about that considering the economic challenges our region faces.” The annual fundraiser has been in existence since 1993, raising millions of dollars for the community through the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie projects. One of these projects is the Rotary Wellness Centre at the new Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, “a home away from home when you need it most.” Proceeds will also support many partner groups in the community who help sell tickets for the lottery.
