HALIFAX, NS, November 9, 2016 — The QEII Home Lottery has sold out! According to the Foundation’s press release, proceeds “will exceed $2.5 million and will help strengthen care for patients at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, in all 10 buildings across both the Halifax Infirmary and VG Sites.”
The lottery sold out before the Early Bird deadline, which means that all 4,300 remaining prize draws will be completed by November 16. This includes the two grand prizes (the Bedford Grand Prize Showhome + $10,000 cash, and the Chester Basin Grand Prize Cottage + $10,000 cash), the Early Bird (choice between a 2016 Audi R8 or $165,000 cash), and the 50/50 whose jackpot finished at approx. $1,205,000 (winner takes half). The draws for the grand prize Chester Basin Cottage and Grand Prize Showhome will be aired on November 16, on CTV’s News at 5
The winners of the cash calendar will be announced daily throughout December and posted each day at www.QE2HomeLottery.com.
According to the official lottery website, a list of grand prize winners will be published in the Chronicle Herald and a complete list will be available online at www.QE2HomeLottery.com on November 25, 2016. All 4,310 winners will be contacted in writing by the offices of Deloitte LLP, Accountant of Record for the QEII Lotteries.
