ONTARIO, May 29, 2017 — The Great Outdoors just got a bit greater for the final winners in the 43rd Annual OFAH Conservation Lottery! The final draw was May 26 at 1:30 PM, and the prizes were catered to the outdoorsy type, with big ticket items like trucks, ATVs, boats, and more! Proceeds from the lottery will help the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters with their fish and wildlife conservation work in the Province of Ontario.
The Grand Prize winner, Jim Medai of McDougall (ticket #033699), just won a whole summer of adventure! His Grand Prize package is worth $99,099.50 and includes a 2017 Ram Laramie 1500 4×4 Truck, a 2017 Alumacraft Voyageur 175 CS Boat, AND a Yamaha 115 hp Outboard Motor & Trailer.
The second, third, and fourth prize winners will be hittin’ the streets and in their new sets of wheels. Second prize winner, Dan Lalandale of Kingston (ticket #277131), will be in his 2017 Ram 1500 ST Quad Cab 4×4 Truck (value: $50,612.70), the third prize winner, Marc Derry of Thunder Bay (ticket #167851), in his 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT (value: $43,439.70), and the fourth prize winner, William Wright of Paisley (ticket #481273), in his 2017 Dodge Journey SXT (value: $38,203.04).
As the fifth prize winner, Irvine Payne of Huntsville (ticket #338846), will soon be camping in style in his Jayco Jay Flight SLX 174BH Travel Trailer (value: $23,209.70), and the sixth prize winner, Joanne McMillian of Chesterville (ticket #195152), will be living the boating life with her Lund Fury 1625 XL Boat with Mercury 50 hp Outboard Motor (value: $22,600.00).
The seventh and eighth prize winners, Robert Dowsen of Newcastle (ticket #216615) and Joe Forgues of Limoges (ticket #200213), will soon be mucking about on the back roads in their Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI ATVs (value: $12,993.87 each). Ninth prize winner, Sandora Scott of Ayton Ticket #477709), will be seeing things a whole lot more clearly with her Zeiss 3-12×56 Victory HT Illuminated Riflescope and Zeiss 10×42 Victory HT Binoculars (value: $8,474.98). Finally, the tenth prize winner, Doug McConnell of Roblin (ticket #302158), has won the Bushnell “Ultimate Optics Package” which includes the Savage Axis 11 XP 30-06 Rifle, Laser Rangefinder, Elite 6500 Riflescope, Trophy Cam HD Trail Camera, Legend HD M-Series Binoculars and Ultra HD Spotting Scope (PAL required) (value: $5,149.35).
