Charlottetown, PEI, September 1, 2017 — This is your last week to buy tickets to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince Edward Island Dream Cottage Draw! The final day to buy tickets is September 7. The Grand Prize Draw will take place the next day, on September 8, at the cottage and will be open to the public.
This is one of its largest yearly fundraisers, with proceeds supporting their transformative mentorship programs. Specifically, the funds help the organization to recruit and screen volunteers, host events for Big/Little matches, provide materials for In-School Mentors, and so on. For only $45 you can join in on the fun and potentially win big, all while supporting its mission to boost the confidence and self esteem of children all over the Island.
You could win a Dream Cottage, and the lifestyle that comes with it! At 1120 square feet with two private bedrooms, a den, and an expansive kitchen/dining area, it’s big enough to feel comfortable yet maintains that air of simplicity. The layout has been revamped to include an entryway with laundry and a French door opening into the living room, and features cathedral ceilings, big windows, and high quality maple cabinetry. Whether it’s a cottage getaway or a cozy new home, we could all use a little more cottage time in our lives!
