EDMONTON, AB, June 9, 2017 — When you support the Edmonton Humane Society, you support all of the animals that rely on its care, excellence, and nurturing. There may be human winners, but the animals are also winners- winning an exceptional standard of care that includes select diet, medication, surgery — even behavior evaluations and training. And the winning ticket holders? Well, this year they are taking home some great cash prizes and that warm feeling that comes with knowing they’ve helped make a difference for some of the province’s most vulnerable animals.
Lucky Society supporter and ticket holder, Derek Thompson (Ticket #601838) is the Grand Prize winner, enjoying $15,000 in spending money.
Also enjoying some new found wealth – $2,500 to be exact – are Anne Swist (Ticket #604624) and Christina Foster (Ticket #605936), this year’s two Early Bird Prize winners.
Maxine Myer (Ticket #602169), Debra Hamilton (Ticket #600248), Darren McNeil (Ticket #603240), Deborah Johnstone (Ticket #701851), Darlene Wong (Ticket #600369), and Desmond Ross (Ticket #606204) are all now $1,000 richer.
