VANCOUVER, BC, December 11, 2024 — The BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund invites you to join the Bright Nights 50/50 Raffle—a community-driven initiative where every ticket you buy makes a difference. Half the jackpot will go to one lucky winner, and the other half directly supports programs like the Little Lionhearts Family Camp, helping burn survivors and their families across British Columbia.
Your Impact: Little Lionhearts Family Camp
This year, the Little Lionhearts Family Camp brought together 10 families from across the province for a transformative weekend of healing, connection, and joy.
At the heart of the camp is the belief that healing extends beyond the individual—it encompasses the entire family. Thanks to an incredible team of volunteers, including firefighters, child life specialists, nurses, and adult burn survivors, families found a safe, supportive space to navigate the emotional and physical challenges of burn recovery.
This year’s camp introduced a new sibling program, offering brothers and sisters of burn survivors a chance to connect, share their stories, and find comfort in a community that truly understands their journey. Little Lionhearts empowers every family member, providing the tools they need to heal, bond, and rediscover joy together.
