VICTORIA, BC, May 16, 2022 – Over the past two decades Help Fill A Dream and Golf For Kids have built an incredible partnership recognizing that every day kids have the opportunity to Dream, but it’s not every day that those Dreams are fulfilled. With your help, we can make sure that all of their Dreams come true!

Since 1986, Help Fill A Dream has been supporting families from Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands whose lives have suddenly changed due to their child’s diagnosis with a life-threatening or critical condition. To date, they have supported over 3,500 Island children in 87 communities. While filling Dreams can be life changing, day-to-day support provided through the Family Assistance Program offers families a lifeline. Picking up the practical and financial worries allows parents to focus on the most important thing: the health of their child. Thanks to community generosity, Help Fill A Dream has never had to say no to a request from a child who qualifies for its support.

More than a charity golf tournament, Golf for Kids brings together sponsors, donors, golfers, volunteers, community partners, and community advocates in support of BC kids and their families. Golf for Kids is here to help fund great organizations that do excellent work in support of kids in our communities. In addition to supporting Help Fill A Dream, money raised at our annual event has contributed to over 100 children’s charities and foundations that make a difference in the lives of children.
Golf For Kids is thrilled to be back with a “live” event on September 10, 2022 at Bear Mountain.
By working together, we can continue to maximize our community’s generosity into meaningful impact. Golf for Kids works because of the commitment and passion of everyone involved. And it’s more important moving forward this year than ever before.
