EDMONTON, AB, May 11, 2016 — Ticket sales are closed and the Edmonton Humane Society Friends for Life Lottery is wrapping up on May 16 with its final draws. On Monday, the lottery organizers will select the 41 final winners, including the Grand Prize winner. There will be forty secondary cash prizes: thirty-two winners will walk away with $500, six with $1000, and two with $2,500. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn last, and this individual will walk away with $15,000 cash!
The draws will take place on-site at the Society’s office (13620 163 St NW). The winners will be notified by phone within a week of the draw, so cross your fingers and keep your phone handy! If the winners cannot be reached, they will receive notification in the mail within 30 days. A list of winners will be available on the website within 48 hours of the draw.
All proceeds raised from the lottery make it possible for the Edmonton Humane Society to provide an exceptional standard of care for thousands of animals every year through the provision of select diets, medications, surgeries, behaviour evaluations and training.
