EDMONTON, AB, July 10, 2017 — That’s all folks! The final cash winners were drawn on June 30 for the 2017 Alberta SPCA June Cash Lottery, signifying its end for this year. Whether or not you have won, your ticket purchase means a win for the animals! All proceeds raised from ticket sales will go towards protecting, promoting, and enhancing the well-being of animals in Alberta year-round.
Prancing away with $1,000 cash each are 22 winners, whose names are now posted on our 2017 Alberta SPCA Winners Page. That’s 1,000 more ways to add some more fun to their summer!
The next four winners take home double the dough. J. Barnicott of Parkland County (Ticket #08406), S. Griffin of Parkland County (Ticket #00757), J. Zimmerman of Edmonton (Ticket #14823), and B. Seibert of Edmonton (Ticket #04852) are all going home with $2,000 cash each! Those winnings are bound to make some tails wag.
L. Ewashen of Innisfail (Ticket #08061) is the winner of the $5,000 cash prize. What will they do with those big bucks? Maybe a trip away, or a well-deserved staycation?
Last but very not least, is the Grand Prize Winner of $20,000, N. Simm of Edmonton (Ticket #06564), who now has the difficult job of deciding how they’re going to spend that money!
As per the official lottery website, winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email within 7 days of the draw and by mail if they cannot be contacted by telephone or email.
All draws were made at the Alberta SPCA head office at 17904 118 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.
