Final winners announced in the 2017 Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI Dream Cottage Draw

CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI, September 8, 2017 — If you purchased a ticket to the 2017 Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI Dream Cottage Draw then you should give yourself a pat on the back for supporting the youth on the island. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI to recruit and screen volunteers, professionally support their matches, run programs like Kids N’ Kops, host events for their Big/Little matches, and provide materials for In-School Mentors.

For one ticket holder, it also meant a brand new cottage to call their second home. The Dream Cottage is a charming 1120 sq. ft. of cozy living, with two private bedrooms and a den, a huge kitchen/dining area, cathedral ceilings and big windows to open the space up, high-quality maple cabinetry, and Maax and Moen fixtures and finishings to make the place sparkle. And it all belongs to the winner, Louise Coneen of Charlottetown. Or, she can take the cash- $70,000 if she added the furniture tag!

The draw was on September 8 and was open to the public. The names of the winners will be published on the lottery’s official website, social media, MBS Radio Stations and in the Guardian newspaper.
