ONTARIO, June 2, 2016 — The Canadian Cancer Society recently announced the Grand Prize Winners for the 2016 Daffodil Daily Lottery. Their daily prize winners have been announced throughout May. The 50/50 draw is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
The $1 Million Grand Prize was awarded to Rodney & Sarah Landry of Southhampton, ticket #057691. The 2016 Cadillac ATS and 2016 Cadillac SRX + $10,000 was won by Marian Zbikowski of Mississauga with ticket #075296. Alda Bellisle of Penetanguishene won the 2016 Jaguar XF + $10,000 with ticket #066189. Jill Porter of Etobicoke held ticket #013917, and won the 2016 Porsche Boxster + $10,000. Daniel Oppong of Toronto, ticket #014573, walked away with a 2016 BMW Z4 Roadster + $10,000. Lorne Marziali of St Marys, ticket #036690, won the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SLK 250 Roadster + $10,000. Marshall & Suzanne Townsend of Erin, held ticket #054637, and won a 2016 BMW 228i Cabriolet + $10,000. Robert L. Gill, of Windsor won the 2016 Audi Q5 + $10,000, with ticket #040591. Jerry Cser of Sudbury, ticket #066797, won the 2016 Land Rover Discovery + $10,000. Finally, Robert Johnston of Pembroke, ticket #003365, won $50,000.

According to information on their website, the Canadian Cancer Society dedicates 100% of the net Lottery proceeds to research into all types of cancer, benefiting people all across Ontario. The proceeds from the Wheels of Hope 50/50 Raffle are dedicated to the Transportation Program at the Canadian Cancer Society, providing cancer patients with rides to their treatment appointments.
