Since launching in late 2020, the RVH Auxiliary Community 50/50 Draw has awarded more than $3.5 million in prizes to lucky winners. Their 2023 jackpots have averaged over $190,000! Proceeds support patient care at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre
The RVH Auxiliary began in 1897 when a group of volunteers saw the need to raise funds to supply the hospital with bed linen and other supplies for patients. In 2020, the Auxiliary made a $5 million pledge to RVH’s Keep Life Wild. The first $2.5 million will be dedicated to Maternal Health, with a focus on renovations to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
