The need for clinicians to wear masks during COVID has made communication extremely difficult for patients who are deaf or heard of hearing, and who rely on lip reading to augment their communication. Thanks to our raffle supporters like you, the Audiology Clinic, is now equipped with speech-text app enabled tablets. Patients and clinicians are both extremely grateful to have these tablets available for audiology appointments as it ensures mutual understanding.
