When the 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier came to the BC SPCA, he was suffering from major hair loss and uncomfortable, irritated skin. On top of that, every meal was an ordeal for Peanut due to severe dental disease and missing teeth. But this cheerful pup didn’t let any of that stop him from making friends with every human, dog, cat and child he met while in care!
Bit by bit, Peanut started to heal. Special medicated baths helped repair his skin, and he received much needed oral surgery when he was ready. Today, that difficult time in his life is just a distant memory, and Peanut is making the most of his golden years in a loving home.
