VANCOUVER, BC, September 8, 2016 — The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra provides more than just an immersive symphonic musical experience. They also strive to enrich the lives of children and adults through their eleven education and community programs. These programs are integrated into existing BC Ministry of Education curricula to help foster musical learning in students and provide lifelong learning to people of all ages. To explore what programs they have developed, visit vancouversymphony.ca/education.
To help fund these efforts, the VSO is launching their 2016 Fall Lottery! Proceeds from ticket sales will help the VSO to continue to offer these educational programs, bring world-renowned artists to Vancouver, and produce over 150 concerts annually.
Tickets are on sale now, and there are 24 prizes to be won including gadgets, cash prizes, travel opportunities around North America, and plenty of VSO tickets. The Grand Prize is the cream of the crop – a choice between a 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MaticTM Sedan or Coupe model, or $50,000 cash!
There are also TEN Early Bird prizes with the biggest being a 7-Day Cruise for two to your choice of Alaska, the Caribbean, Canada/New England, or New Mexico. The Early Bird ticket deadline is November 18 for cheques and November 25 for cash and credit card. Tickets are $40 each and are also available in packs of three, eight, ten, or sixteen.
