VANCOUVER, BC, December 17, 2021 — The deadline for the Bright Nights 50/50 is just two weeks away! With a jackpot over $150,000, you could walk into 2022 a winner.
Proceeds support the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, including the charity’s newest addition, Benji, a three-year-old yellow lab who helps burn survivors when they are feeling anxious or stressed.
Benji visits burn survivors at the Burn Fund Centre with his human dad, Peter Hansen, a retired District of North Vancouver Fire Fighter and manager of the Home Away Program. This important program offers burn and trauma survivors accomodations when travelling to Vancouver for treatment.
