VANCOUVER, BC, November 6, 2020 — The BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund introduces a new 50/50 raffle in support of the burn survivors across the province.
With a deadline of New Year’s Eve, you have the chance to walk into 2021 a winner! Tickets are 1 for $15, 3 for $40, or 6 for $60. Buy your tickets knowing you are supporting the charity of choice of BC’s professional fire fighters.
The Bright Nights 50/50 is named after the beloved 23-year holiday event where fire fighters transform Stanley Park into a winter wonderland to raise funds for burn survivors. Sadly this year, the traditional Bright Nights event is unable to operate at full capacity with only the Christmas Train moving ahead. The Bright Nights 50/50 Raffle was created in hopes of recouping these vital donations.
Proceeds will support burn survivor programs like Burn Camp for kids, virtual mental health support, and the Home Away accommodation program which offers families traveling to Vancouver for burn and trauma treatment a home away from home.
For 42 years, BC’s professional fire fighters have been supporting burn survivors from rescue to recovery.
