VANCOUVER, BC, July 20, 2017 — Have you been eagerly awaiting the results of the Home Improvement and Early Bird Draws in the 2017 Hometown Heroes Lottery? If you purchased a ticket before the deadlines (Midnight on June 15 and Midnight on June 29, respectively) then you were eligible to win in one or both of the draws on Thursday, July 20 at 11 AM.
The Home Improvement Draw selected ticket #6629692, belonging to E. Uy of Richmond, BC. As the winner, they now have the choice between three prize options worth over $35,000. Liven up your living room with Option #1, a La-Z-Boy Package with design or Valley Direct Furniture with design. Spruce up the kitchen with Option # 2, a $25,000 Midland Appliance package plus $5,000 cash. Or if you want to do things your way, you can opt in for Option #3, which is $25,000 cash.
The stakes are a bit higher for the Early Bird winner, whose three prize options are worth up to $135,000! A. Saville of Kamloops, BC (Ticket #: 6118769) is the lucky winner, and they will now choose between Option #1, a 2017 Tesla Model X 75D; Option #2, twelve different vacations, each valued at $8,000 and with $2,000 spending cash; or Option #3, $105,000 cash.
Winners will choose one prize option; other prize options will not be awarded.
That concludes the early draws in the lottery, which means it’s almost time for the Grand Finale! The Grand Prize Draw takes place on August 3. The Draw Date for all prizes with a value in excess of $1,000 is on Thursday, August 3, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Global TV, 7850 Enterprise Street, Burnaby, BC. For all remaining prizes with a value of $1,000 or less, the draw will take place on Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at MNP LLP, 15303 31st Ave, 3rd Floor, Surrey, BC.
