This marks the beginning of the most enchanting time of the year, off-duty fire fighters can’t wait to welcome everyone to this magical event. Bright Nights is not just a celebration of the holiday season; it’s a testament to the incredible spirit of community and generosity.
Bright Nights in Stanley Park stands as the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ single largest fundraising event, made possible by the dedication of approximately 800 fire fighters from across British Columbia. These selfless individuals donate an astonishing 6,400 hours of their time to set up and take down nearly 3,000,000 Christmas lights and displays at Bright Nights. It’s a labor of love that creates a mesmerizing spectacle for everyone who visits.

Admission to Bright Nights is by donation, and all proceeds go towards supporting burn survivor programs, including Burn Camp and Home Away. These initiatives make a profound difference in the lives of those affected by burn injuries, offering support, healing, and a sense of community.
Though the train rides may be sold out, visitors are encouraged to explore the plaza, where off-duty fire fighters will be on hand to welcome everyone with candy canes. The plaza features beloved attractions such as the iconic fire truck, giant red reindeer, and the dazzling tunnel of lights. The barn transformed into Santa’s workshop for memorable holiday photos.
