VANCOUVER, BC, December 8, 2015 — The BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities announced their Christmas Wish Lottery winners. Their final draws were Sunday December 6, 2015, at the Timmy’s Christmas Telethon on Shaw TV. The $25,000 winner is Ms. Phyllis Reid, of Invermere, ticket #6120; the $5,000 winner is Ms. Conchita Ung, of Vancouver, ticket #11895; the $2,000 winner is Phuoc Tuyen Trinh, of Vancouver, ticket #4314; and the three $1,000 winners are Dr. & Mrs. R. T. Mori, of Salmon Arm, ticket #14442, Ms. Lynn Leadbetter, of New Westminster, ticket #15812 and Mr. Don Duplin, of Surrey, ticket #15082. According to their website, The BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities has two lotteries each year. Through purchase of lottery tickets you are supporting the BC Lions Society’s Easter Seals Camping programs. There are three Easter Seals Camps in BC, Squamish, Winfield and Shawingan Lake. Approximately 900 children attend the camps each summer, these camps remain the largest and best equipped camps in the province and are specially designed and staffed to accommodate children with disabilities.
