EDMONTON, AB, December 28, 2016 — The final winners have been named in the 2016 Alberta SPCA Christmas Cash Lottery and they will no doubt be celebrating!
Thirty-three cash prizes totalling $70,000 were awarded on December 16 at the Alberta SPCA head
office at 17904 118 Avenue NW, in Edmonton. In addition to the generous Grand Prize cash giveaway of $25,000, two cash prizes of $5,000 were passed out, as were five $2,000 and 25 $1,000 ones.
The Grand Prize winner of $25,000 cash goes to H. Nelson of Lac des Arcs (Ticket #00387)!
The two winners of the $5,000 cash prizes are M. Rutar of Edmonton (Ticket #11698) and R. Enzenauer of Lloydminster (Ticket #10852).
Taking home $2,000 cash each are the following: F. Manganaro of Calgary (Ticket #01591), A. Sauer of Medicine Hat (Ticket #05705), Y. Dickson of Calgary (Ticket #19470), N. Huggins-Rawlins of Red Deer (Ticket #20221), and D. Goertzen of Medicine Hat (Ticket #11624).

As per the official lottery Rules & Regulations, winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email within 7 days of the draw and by mail if they cannot be contacted by telephone or email. The prize winner has one year from the draw date to collect their prize.
With those draws, this year’s 2016 Alberta SPCA Christmas Cash Lottery is a wrap! All proceeds raised from ticket sales will go towards protecting, promoting, and enhancing the well-being of animals in Alberta year-round. The Alberta Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals relies on the support from fundraisers such as their lotteries to make this happen.
