WINDSOR, ON, May 31st, 2021 — Ticket sales are now open for the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation’s June MEGA MONTHLY 50/50. As of 9am today, the event is live with a guaranteed prize of $8,249.

This month the MEGA MONTHLY 50/50 is introducing WINNING WEDNESDAYS! Starting Wednesday, June 9^th, every Wednesday of the month you will have a chance to win a progressively larger Early Bird prize, culminating with the GRAND PRIZE draw on Wednesday, June 30^th.

A retired Windsor couple, married for 54 years, are smiling ear to ear as they won the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation’s May Mega Monthly 50/50 Grand Prize worth $88,015.

The winning ticket number belonged to 78-year old Larry Stanciu, who was self-employed in the Tool and Die industry. Stanciu had purchased the ticket along with family friend Carol Parent (seen in the photo).

In a heartwarming twist, they decided to make a generous donation back to the foundation.

The Stanciu couple confesses to being “Big Windsor Boosters” donating to many local causes.

Proceeds from the WRH Foundation Mega Monthly 50/50 Draw support the purchase of hospital equipment at Windsor Regional Hospital.
