Only three envelopes remain — Doug Anthony signals how close the Ace of Spades may finally be revealed.
RUSSELL, ONTARIO, November 6, 2025 — The Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace lottery has entered week 50 and the excitement is reaching new heights. The jackpot has surpassed $2 million, the estimated weekly prize has soared to $100,000, and only three envelopes remain in what has become one of Ontario’s most successful Catch the Ace lotteries.
A Record-Breaking Run
This seventh edition of the Kin Club of Russell’s Catch the Ace has now raised $2,600,000 for charities this round alone, bringing the cumulative total to well over $6.5 million since the lottery’s inception.
Each ticket sold helps fund local programs supporting health care, youth, food security, and mental health across Eastern Ontario.
“The community has been incredible,” said Catch the Ace Chair Doug Anthony. “To reach $2 million in the jackpot and $2.6 million for charities shows just how passionate people are about making a difference.”

How It Works
Each week, players purchase tickets and select one of the remaining envelopes. If their ticket is drawn, they win that week’s estimated prize — this week, $100,000. If their envelope hides the Ace of Spades, they also claim the jackpot, now sitting at $2 million.

The 50th Week — and the Ace Still Hides
With only three envelopes left, the suspense is almost unbearable. The jackpot has reached $2 million, and one lucky ticket holder will win an estimated $100,000 this week. The Ace of Spades could be revealed at any time — but for now, it remains elusive.
