As per the lottery’s website, the vacation packages are valid for one year from the draw date. Extensions will be granted upon request and some restrictions and blackout dates may apply. In the event that winners of travel prizes do not wish to travel to the destination they won, they will have an option to take an alternate trip of equal value. All packages include round-trip airfare (unless self-driven), accommodations, transfers and all applicable taxes. All flights depart from either Calgary or Edmonton.

LUCKY STARS 50/50

You can win up to $1.55 Million! The minimum payout is $620,000, or 50% of ticket sales, whichever is greater.

A maximum of 760,000 LUCKY STARS 50/50 tickets are available. In the event the STARS main lottery sells out by the early bird cut-off date of March 1, 2017, then the LUCKY STARS 50/50 ticket sales will be cut-off and the draw will take place on March 20, 2017, with AGLC approval.

If tickets remain after the early bird deadline, the LUCKY STARS 50/50 draw will take place on April 10, 2017. Ticket purchasers are not required to purchase a ticket in the STARS lottery in order to purchase a LUCKY STARS 50/50 ticket.

Every day, STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service) takes care of some of the sickest and most critically injured patients in Alberta. This translates to thousands of people who rely on STARS to get them to hospitals safely where they can access the advanced care they need. With your help, their non-profit can continue providing patients with the highest level of care available.
