Your Take it to the Bank 50/50 Raffle purchase helps The Kamloops Food Bank serve nearly 7000 individuals, 45 community agencies that make meals and 9 smaller food banks in the region. They offer clients healthy perishable product once per week and operate several programs to ensure the basic need of food is provided to the vulnerable in the community.

The Kamloops Food Bank is a leader in food recovery. Their foodSHARE program recovers close dated product including meat, dairy, produce, bread, and deli from 25 local retailers and distribute it to people. All expired product is given to local farmers for animal feed. They are striving to be zero waste and have diverted over 21 million pounds of organic waste from the landfill since foodSHARE’s inception.
