MISSION, BC, December 6, 2023 — The Rotary Club of Mission (Sunrise) is hosting its  2023 Annual “Win Big” 50/50 Draw.

People like you play a pivotal role in shaping our community through your support. 

Via this 50/50 draw, together we will raise funds for the following youth programs:

• Inclusive Playgrounds in Mission – Inclusive design, equipped with play areas that cater to children with diverse needs, ensuring no child gets left behind. We’re on a mission to build a more inclusive City, with inclusive, accessible, and family-friendly playgrounds for children of all abilities. Our goal is to create a safe, joyful, and enriching space where every child can experience the magic of play, regardless of their physical or cognitive challenges. Help us create a world of inclusion and fun for all!
• Camp Jubilee – Sponsorship of At-Risk Youth to summer camp. For many years, the Rotary Club of Mission Sunrise has been a major provider of subsidized spots for deserving but financially challenged young campers and we would like to do more.  At the Mission Rotary Club and Camp Jubilee, we believe no child should be turned away because their family could not afford camp.  Help us make a difference in a child’s life by giving them the opportunity to experience independence, self-improvement and new challenges, all while having fun.

ONE WINNER will take home THOUSANDS at the live draw on Valentine’s Day, February 14 2023.  

Tickets are on sale NOW, but you have to order them before midnight, February 7. Hurry and get your tickets before they’re gone. 

All proceeds go to support many community projects such as the Mission Family Place Playground, youth programs including Camp Jubilee, scholarships, Rotary Youth Leadership (RYLA) and Youth Adventures in Leadership (YAIL), literacy initiatives and food-security programs such as “Starfish Backpack”, “After the Bell” and the Mission Food Centre, as well as the Mission Christmas Bureau.

Since 1946, the Rotary Club of Mission’s goal has been to build strong communities, both locally and globally, and it is dedicated to creating positive change. 

Unprecedented times have limited fundraising events for the Rotary Club of Mission, but it continues to support local youth programs and food security initiatives all year round.
