The Great Saskatchewan Red Cross Lottery starts March 15th

SASKATCHEWAN, March 7, 2016 — The Great Saskatchewan Red Cross Lottery will be kicking off on Tuesday, March 15th and running until Monday, June 20th. The lottery features three grand prizes, a VIP Prize, Quad Prize Packs, Birthday Bonus Prizes, Early Bird Prizes, and a Scratch & Win. Tickets are 1 for $40, 4 for $100, or 8 for $160. 50/50 tickets are also available at 1 for $10, 5 for $25, and 15 for $50 (must be purchased in combination with a lottery ticket). According to the official Lottery website, every ticket holder will also receive a scratch and win ticket for a chance at $40 cash.

There are three grand prize options to choose from in this year’s lottery: Prize 1: $100,000 Grand Prize Cash, Prize 2: $10,000 Dream Vacation, and Prize 3: $20,000 Cash.

All tickets purchased before April 20th will also qualify for the VIP Prize of $25,000 and ticket buyers purchasing a Quad Pack of tickets (4 for $100) will be entered in a bonus draw to win $10,000 cash. Limited quantities available.

One $5,000 vacation will also be given away each month throughout the lottery, starting in April as part of the Lottery’s Birthday Bonus Prizes. There are 4 Early Bird Prizes to be given away as well:  one prize of $50,000 Cash and 3 vacation prizes.

Proceeds raised from tickets sales will go towards helping families in Saskatchewan affected by personal disasters such as house fires, by providing them with a safe place to sleep, warm clothes to wear, food to eat, and essentials like diapers and eyeglasses.
