VANCOUVER, BC, May 24, 2016 — There will be 31 chances to win when the Grand Prize Draw winners in the 2016 BC SPCA Lottery for Animals in Need are revealed on June 1st at 11 AM. The draws, which will take place at the BC SPCA Vancouver Branch (1205 East 7th Avenue), will see cash prizes of $2,000 and $5,000 given away, culminating in the Grand Prize Fathers Day giveaway of $10,000. Ticket buyers who bought before the final ticket cut-off deadline of May 20, 2016 at midnight will be eligible to win.
When you win in the BC SPCA Lottery for Animals in Need, the winning doesn’t stop there. Proceeds from your ticket purchase will provide emergency care for 40,000+ homeless, injured and abused animals in your community and throughout the province of British Columbia. It will also help fund spay/neuter clinics in Prince George and Kamloops, a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Metchosin, a Provincial Call Centre for animal cruelty complaints, advocacy and humane education programs, and Special Provincial Constables who investigate complaints of animal cruelty and neglect.
