BRITISH COLUMBIA, May 12, 2016 — The “SPCA” is a household name here in BC. Their advocacy and compassion has helped to improve animal welfare across the province, as well as the lives of families who have adopted their furry friends into their homes. The BC SPCA Lottery is a fun, easy way to celebrate and show support for this cause- and get the chance to win some cash while you do it! The deadline to purchase tickets is this Friday, May 20th at midnight. The lottery will award daily cash prizes over the month of June, from $2000 on most days, with $5000 on Mondays and Fridays, and a special $10,000 Father’s Day grand prize.
Tickets can be purchased online or by phone (604-205-5998, toll free 1-855-205-5998).
- 1 for $25
- 3 for $60
- 5 for $90
The Final draw will be on June 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m (all 31 winners will be drawn on this day, and the daily winners will be published each day in June).
Proceeds will support the BC SPCA in providing emergency care for 40,000+ homeless, injured and abused animals in your community and throughout the province of British Columbia.
In addition to benefitting 36 BC SPCA branches, proceeds from the lottery will fund spay/neuter clinics in Prince George and Kamloops, a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Metchosin, a Provincial Call Centre for animal cruelty complaints, advocacy and humane education programs, and Special Provincial Constables who investigate complaints of animal cruelty and neglect.
The BC SPCA is proud to be among the elite group of Canadian organizations to be accredited by Imagine Canada, the national umbrella for charities and non-profits. Read more about their governance and accountability here.
