VANCOUVER, BC, September 19, 2022 — Youth are the driving force of our society and hold the key to our future. However, turbulent teen years present challenges for youth around issues like drugs and gangs. At Odd Squad Productions, they are working hard to provide youth with prevention and education through 4 Pathways: Films, Presentations, Peer2Peer and Physical Literacy. That’s the core of Odd Squad Productions – a charity started 25 years ago by a group of Vancouver police officers wanting to make a difference.
Sponsored by KTL Transport, Odd Squad Productions is hosting Win-A-Barracuda! – a raffle contest that aims to drive positive change for youth! Get a chance to bring home a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Resto-Mod Muscle Car appraised at over $90,000.00 and join the 50/50 raffle (growing daily) as well! Participants will help support Odd Squad programs geared towards protecting youth with the underlying philosophy that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.
With your support, Odd Squad Productions can continue to:
- EDUCATE youth on the consequences of drugs, gangs and other risky behaviours
- INVOLVE youth in programs including Peer2Peer, Police Judo, Self Defense, and Adventuring
- EMPOWER youth to set goals, develop resiliency and help educate their peers
Tell your family and friends about Win-A-Barracuda and purchase tickets online today! Ticket sales will close on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.
The final draw will be on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. and held at 5487 Lane St. Burnaby BC.
