NANAIMO, BC, May 25, 2021 — Nanaimo Hospice is celebrating their 40th Anniversary this year and they have started their first ever Virtual 50/50 Along with so many other very important not-for-profit organizations, they are really feeling the “pinch” when it comes to fundraising during a global pandemic. Hospice relies heavily on the support of donations from those near and far, as the funding they receive only covers approximately 25% of their operating costs. Hospice has adapted and found ways to ensure that they can continue to provide the free services and programs for those who are dying, caregiving and grieving during these unprecedented times.
