ST.JOHN’S, NL, May 12, 2016 — Tickets for the Health Care Foundation Hospital Home Lottery have sold out early, therefore all remaining draws will take place next week.
VROOOM! First up will be the draw for the Early Bird prize: a choice between a 2016 Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG, or $65,000 cash. On May 16 – that’s next Monday– one winner will be drawn from the pool of tickets that were purchased before the May 6 deadline.
Also on May 16, the lottery will draw the winners for all remaining prizes with the exception of the top valued prize. They will also select the winner of the 50/50 jackpot, which reached $460,000 (winner takes half). The draws will begin at 9:30 AM, starting with the Early Bird prize and followed by all remaining prizes starting with the prize of least retail value. The draw will take place at the offices of Deloitte LLP, 5 Springdale Street, Suite 1000, St. John’s, NL.
On Wednesday, May 18 will be the Grand Prize draw for the luxurious three-bedroom showhome (worth $1.1 million). Custom built by Rockwood Homes and situated in Virginia Water Village, the home features an all-seasons sun room, walkout deck, modern gourmet kitchen, and an unplugged music studio and wet bar in the basement.
