Jays Care Presents the First-ever ‘Split the Pot’ Raffle

Nova Scotia, June 10, 2024 — Today, Jays Care Foundation launched the biggest raffle in its 50/50 history! Blue Jays fans have already won over $4 million through 50/50 jackpots this season, but Jays Care wants to see more winners. Their latest 50/50 has an exciting twist – a ‘Split the Pot’ raffle. Instead of just one person taking home the 50/50 grand prize, ten winning numbers will be drawn for the grand prize payout at midnight on July 7. The ten winning ticket holders will evenly split the grand prize payout. For example, if the total take-home jackpot is $5,000,000 each winning ticket holder will receive $500,000 (one tenth of the pot)!

As if a life-changing amount of money wasn’t enough, Jays Care has also stacked the number of early bird prizes you could win, in addition to the ten grand prizes. Canada is turning 157 years old this year, and to celebrate, Blue Jays fans will have the chance to win 157 amazing early bird prizes, including cash prizes, memorabilia, and a once-in-a-lifetime Canadian vacation! The earlier you buy, the more chances you will have to win! Visit bluejays.com/5050 to guarantee yourself a chance!

All proceeds generated from Nova Scotia will support Jays Care Foundation baseball for development programming, giving kids in Nova Scotia of all backgrounds and all abilities a place on a team where they belong.

The Power of Sport

Jays Care Foundation uses the power of sport and play, to help level the playing field and improve the lives of youth facing barriers across the country. This includes children living with physical and cognitive disabilities, Indigenous youth, and young girls and boys who may not otherwise have the chance to participate in organized sports. Through its life-changing programming, Jays Care is building a Canada where every child could grow, learn, and develop through play. With each 50/50 ticket sold, half of the proceeds go directly towards Jays Care programming, while the other half goes to one lucky fan with the winning ticket number!
