Farwell4Hire Campaign to End Cystic Fibrosis benefits from 50/50

KITCHENER, ON, May 5, 2021 — Rangers Reach is excited to announce its latest partnership in support of Mike Farwell’s “Farwell4Hire” Campaign, raising funds and awareness in support of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research.

The Rangers Reach Community Impact 50/50 Raffle in support of Farwell4Hire and Cystic Fibrosis research is presented by Heffner Lexus Toyota. The raffle kicked off on Friday April 30, 2021 and the jackpot is already well over $16,000. The raffle continues until Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Each May, local radio personality & Kitchener Rangers play-by-play voice, Mike Farwell embarks on his campaign to raise fund and awareness to support Cystic Fibrosis research. For Mike, the campaign is a personal one. Mike lost two sisters, both to cystic fibrosis (CF), the most common fatal genetic disease in Canada. He has been passionately carrying on his sisters’ legacy of “caring, compassion, and kindness, characteristics that are remembered fondly to this day”. After years of raising money, he got tired of asking for donations without giving anything in return — and that’s when Farwell4Hire was born.

In addition to the Jackpot and as a result of the great community support from local businesses, there are a number of great prizes, both Early Bird and Consolation!
