Despite the hardships, Sydney describes Layna as a spirited and cheerful baby who faces adversity with resilience. The specialized care at JPCH has been invaluable to Layna’s recovery. Although there is uncertainty about her future, Sydney holds onto hope for Layna’s eventual reunion with her father and siblings, eagerly awaiting their return home together.
