VANCOUVER, BC, November 9, 2025 — Now’s your chance to buy tickets for Lights of Hope 50/50 raffle! One lucky winner will take home half the jackpot, while the other half will go directly toward supporting patients, long-term care residents, and their families with compassionate, comforting care – today, and for years to come.
Sleeper Chairs: A place to rest, so family and loved ones can stay close
When a loved one is in the hospital, you want to be by their side – but spending hours in an uncomfortable chair only adds to the exhaustion.
Family members and loved ones are an integral part of a patient’s care team, providing emotional support and comfort in their recovery process. They may help with meals, personal care, translation, communication, and alert medical staff to issues that need attention in critical care situations.
Some loved ones come from out-of-town and are at the patient’s bedside for many hours. Sleeper chairs, which can be converted into a flat bed, allow family members and visitors to lie down and rest comfortably by the patient’s side.
Thanks to raffle supporters like you, family members have a comfortable place to recharge – so they can take care of themselves while staying strong for the ones they love.
A humble hallmark of the compassionate care offered to patients and residents throughout Providence.
