Your ticket purchase will fund Enhanced Patient Care Grants, a series of grants supporting initiatives, programs, items, and equipment that will directly impact care at Providence Health Care’s hospital and long-term-care homes, including:
- Traditional medicines, foods, and blankets for Indigenous patients.
- Emergency necessities like warm socks, transit tickets, meal vouchers, and medications.
- Lion Dance and Cantonese Opera performances at various long-term care homes throughout Providence.
- Community kitchens as well as cooking and meal programs, such as the traditional Chinese Soup Program.
- Holiday decorations, games, gardening supplies, crafts, and cooking demos for our long-term care and mental health units.
