Final Lottery Deadline: July 24, 2024

Your ticket purchase could win you one of over 900 prizes, from the $1.3 million dream home package to adventures across the world, a smooth new ride or so much more. But more importantly, it supports the 100,000 kids and families who use the Alberta Children’s Hospital every year.

This year, your ticket purchase will help provide life-saving support for southern Alberta’s tiniest babies by equipping skilled specialists with state-of-the-art ventilators. These devices are essential to the survival of kids like Cedric, who are born too fragile to breathe on their own and rely on the world-class specialized care provided in the Edwards Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

Cedric’s Story

Baby Cedric needed a team of experts to help him reach his first birthday. Born three months premature, Cedric weighed just over two pounds. His lungs were only the size of walnuts—Cedric needed a ventilator to breathe until his lungs grew strong enough on their own. For 70 days, baby Cedric called the Alberta Children’s Hospital home. He relied on the specialized critical care experts in the Edwards Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to keep a careful eye on his tiny lungs and manage a dangerous build-up of fluid in his brain called hydrocephalus.

World-class specialized care and state-of-the-art equipment gave Cedric his best chance at survival. Today, he’s absolutely thriving at home as a strong and busy toddler.

Cedric’s remarkable survival story is made possible through the continued generosity from Albertans like you.
