“Because You Care” Lottery Ticket Sales Off to Great Start
CAMPBELL RIVER, BC, May 12, 2016 — With one month of successful ticket sales complete the Campbell River Hospital Foundation is pleased with the response so far for this years “Because You Care, Lottery”.
Event and Communications Director, Carly Pisterzi, has been pleased with the progress stating “we have seen a remarkable rise in early support from various parts of the province, especially from the mainland”. With only 2500 total tickets, Campbell River Hospital Foundation supporters are encouraged to buy as soon as possible to avoid disappointment and to show support for local healthcare.
Funds from this year’s lottery will be used to purchase two pieces of life saving equipment. The first is a Transport Incubator which will be used by the Maternity Department to safely transport newborn babies needing care in other hospitals. The second is a Portable Ultrasound Unit which assists the Emergency Department to evaluate and treat patients quickly and effectively.
About The “Because You Care” Lottery
The grand prize for the Lottery is an enticing $10,000 Cash and a $10,000 Travel Voucher. The 2nd prize is an all-inclusive trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and the 3rd prize is a return trip for two to any scheduled West Jet destination.
