VANCOUVER, BC, January 28, 2017 — Ticket holders in this year’s Vancouver Opera Lottery have had double the chances to win the Early Bird Prize draws for $1,000 cash. The first set of winners was revealed in December and the second yesterday, January 27th.
Taking home a cash windfall this second time around are Keith Donaldson of White Rock (Ticket #1320), Aidan, Mike and Marta Sattler of New Westminster (Ticket #1289), Catherine E. Lloyd of Langley (Ticket #1468), and David Alfredson of Gambier Island (Ticket #3793).
Next up in the prize giveaways are the Grand Prize and 50/50 giveaways. Ticket sales end at 5 pm on February 17, 2017, for cheques and 9 pm on February 23, 2017 for credit cards. Lottery tickets are $40 each, 3-pack for $99, 7-pack for $196, or 11-pack for $297. 50/50 tickets can be purchased for $10 each or 5 for $25. This year’s Grand Prize offers the winner a choice between two very different luxury driving experiences, but both oozing with the comfort and luxury that comes with the “Audi” name. Option #1 is the 2017 Audi A4 Progressiv, valued at $63,054 (including taxes). This luxury sedan is the “embodiment of innovation,” and has been thoughtfully redesigned for utmost power, efficiency, and intelligence on the road. Option #2 is a high-performance SUV: the 2017 Audi Q5 Progressiv valued at $62,489 (including taxes).
