Final winners announced for the 2017/2018 Heart&Stroke Lottery

TORONTO, ON, March 9, 2018 — After six months of waiting and wishing, seven Ontarians can finally call themselves “Grand Prize Winners” in the 2017/2018 Heart&Stroke Lottery! The final draws were on March 9, and along with the seven Grand Prizes, there were also over 47,000 cash prizes and hundreds of merchandise prizes also awarded! Plus, the 50/50 jackpot made someone very cash-rich!

So let’s get to it. The winner of Grand Prize #1 and $1 million cash is Christine Roebuck (ticket #117740). Also joining the Millionaire’s club is Grand Prize #2 winners, Leon & Linda Robichaud (ticket #047708) with another $1 million cash! Grand Prize #3 winner has a tough decision to make: will they choose the 2018 BMW X4 M40i (valued at $106,178) PLUS $20,000 CASH OR a 2018 BMW M550i xDRIVE SEDAN ($107,598) PLUS $10,000 CASH OR just take $100,000 cash? That’s a decision for Louise & Bruce Reilly (ticket #038941) to make!

Grand Prize #4 winner is Sandeep Kulkarni (ticket #050431) and they will choose between a 2018 BMW 440i xDrive Cabriolet OR $90,000 cash. Grand Prize #5 will send Mark Ward (ticket #006609) on a twelve-day trip of a lifetime for four to the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador, Or they can choose to take $70,000 cash instead. Grand Prize #6 is a Peruvian adventure for Gail Tanner (ticket #091347) to enjoy. They will take a seven-day trip for four to Machu Picchu in Peru’s Sacred Valley (or $60,000 cash.) Finally, it’s all smiles and sunshine for Grand Prize #7 winner Joseph Genovese (ticket #011283) who will head to the beautiful Italian Amalfi Coast for a six-day trip for four. Or, take $45,000 cash instead.

The 50/50 winner takes home half of the $1,937,725 jackpot. That winner is Mike Gerrior (ticket #5271292).
